1. Purchasing
1.1. We strongly recommend requesting a fabric sample before placing your order to ensure you are completely satisfied with the colour, texture, and weight of your chosen material. As all fabric orders are cut to your specified length and treated as bespoke, Textilez Ltd cannot accept responsibility for a customer's choice of fabric once an order has been placed. Please note that colours may appear differently under varying lighting conditions and at different times of day.
1.2. Before ordering, please ensure the product is suitable for your intended purpose. Textilez Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, damage, deterioration, shrinkage, or change in condition resulting from usage, cleaning processes, atmospheric conditions, or any assembly, make-up, installation, or application by the customer or a third party. We are not responsible for the work of any independent tradespeople engaged by the customer.
1.3. Stock availability is subject to our suppliers' inventory levels. In the event that an item cannot be fulfilled, we will contact you as soon as possible after your order is received. Where a product is temporarily out of stock, we will provide an estimated delivery date. If that date is not suitable, a full refund will be issued via your original payment method. If you choose to wait, payment will be taken at checkout and held until fulfilment. Textilez Ltd cannot be held responsible for supplier-side delays and will not be liable for any consequential losses arising from delays outside our control. Please note that estimated delivery dates provided by suppliers are subject to change, and we will communicate any updates to you as promptly as possible.
1.4. The minimum order quantity is one metre of custom hand cut fabric. Where fabric is listed as a remnant, the available meterage will be clearly stated on the individual product page.
1.5. Goods will not be dispatched until payment has been received in full.
1.6. Orders will not be accepted from individuals under the age of 18.
1.7. All products displayed on this website are subject to availability.
1.8. Nothing on this website shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer that cannot be excluded or restricted by law.
1.9. All prices displayed on this website are exclusive of VAT. Textilez Ltd is not currently VAT registered.
2. Returns & Refunds
As all our fabric orders are cut-to-order to your specified length, we are unable to accept returns on fabric once cut, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied. This is in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exempt made-to-measure and cut-to-order goods from the standard right to cancel.
In exceptional circumstances, returns may be considered on orders exceeding 50 metres of uncut fabric, though a handling fee of up to 50% of the order value may apply.
If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund at our discretion.
To initiate a return where applicable, please contact us at sales@textilez.co.uk. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.
3. Delivery
3.1. All delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout. Smaller orders are dispatched via a tracked parcel courier. Larger orders to the UK mainland are typically sent via a next-day carrier service. Delivery charges quoted at checkout apply to UK mainland addresses only. If you require delivery to an address outside the UK mainland or to Northern Ireland, please contact us before placing your order so we can advise on any additional charges. Should you not wish to proceed with any additional delivery costs, a full refund will be issued.
3.2. Each order can only be dispatched to a single delivery address. If you require items to be sent to separate addresses, please place individual orders accordingly.
3.3. Estimated delivery times are indicated within the product information; however, please allow up to 5 working days for delivery to the UK mainland. If you are working to a specific deadline, timed or Saturday delivery options may be available at an additional cost — please advise us at the time of ordering. Express delivery can often be arranged upon request for an additional fee.
3.4. In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock with our suppliers, we will contact you as soon as possible after your order is received. We will provide an estimated delivery date, and if this is not acceptable, a full refund will be issued via your original payment method. Where you choose to wait, payment will be taken at checkout and held until the order is fulfilled. Textilez Ltd cannot be held responsible for delays outside our control and will not be liable for any consequential losses arising from such delays. Estimated delivery dates are subject to change and are not always communicated to us by suppliers immediately — we will notify you of any updates as promptly as possible.
3.5. Textilez Ltd cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by courier network issues or adverse weather conditions.
⚠️ Important: Please inspect all packaging for damage at the point of delivery. Any parcels that appear damaged must be checked, Textilez Ltd is unable to accept liability for transit damage where goods have been signed for as received in good condition.
4. Fabric Care
We recommend hand washing only where cleaning is necessary. Machine washing or the use of chemical cleaning agents may cause irreversible damage to the fabric and is done entirely at the customer's risk. If you require specific care guidance for a particular fabric, please contact us and we will endeavour to obtain advice from our suppliers on your behalf.
5. Data Protection & Privacy
Textilez Ltd is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties in any manner inconsistent with this statement. Information collected at the point of registration or order placement is used solely to process your order efficiently and to improve the service we provide.
We do not retain, rent, share, or disclose your personal details to any third party following the fulfilment of your order. We do not store credit or debit card details. For full details of how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
6. Receipt of Goods
Please inspect all items for damage or defects upon delivery. Textilez Ltd cannot be held responsible for goods damaged in transit once a delivery has been signed for. If a neighbour or third party is accepting delivery on your behalf, please ask them to inspect the packaging before signing.
For fabric orders, please check for faults, defects, and correct width before cutting. If you have a sample, please verify the colour matches before cutting. Once fabric has been cut, Textilez Ltd cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies. For products requiring installation (such as curtain poles or tracks), we recommend engaging a qualified specialist. Textilez Ltd accepts no responsibility for the work of third-party contractors.
7. Website Content & Product Information
We take all reasonable care to ensure that product details, descriptions, and prices displayed on this website are accurate at the time of publication. However, information may not always reflect real-time availability or pricing at the exact moment of your order. Prices are confirmed only upon acceptance of your order in accordance with our order acceptance policy.
We are reliant on timely and accurate information from our suppliers and cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in product information. We reserve the right to decline an order where a pricing or typographical error has occurred, subject to your statutory rights. We recommend reviewing product information carefully before ordering, as it is subject to ongoing updates.
8. Amendments to These Terms & Conditions
Textilez Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Amendments will take effect upon publication on this website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms on each visit, and your continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All copyright, database rights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the content and materials on this website are owned by Textilez Ltd or our licensors and shall remain vested in us or our licensors at all times. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without our express written authorisation.
10. Risk & Title
Title, ownership, and risk in the ordered products pass to you upon delivery. Once delivered, goods are held entirely at your own risk and Textilez Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage thereafter.
11. Entire Agreement
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you have not relied upon any representation that has not been expressly incorporated into these Terms, and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any such representation.
12. Severance
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, that provision shall be severed and the remaining Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
13. Assignment
You may not assign, transfer, or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Textilez Ltd reserves the right to assign or sub-contract any of its rights or obligations to a third party at its discretion.
14. Waiver
Any failure by Textilez Ltd to exercise or enforce a right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right, nor prevent its exercise or enforcement at any future time.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
